2023

A GIRL MissRed (previously named FRECKLES) performs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for the first time since the pandemic.

2021

MissRed the musical (previously named FRECKLES) was due a run at The Forum in Bath in August 2021 with a cast of over 50 but was cancelled after months of preparation due to the pandemic. However, a cast recording was completed over two days at Real World Recording studios. A wonderful achievement and experience in difficult times.

2017

FRECKLES THE MUSICAL appeared at St Paul's Church, Covent Garden on the 2nd of June 2017 as a part of Iris Theatre's Workin Process initiative. The Workin Process initiative, which developed in 2015 with support from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, provides a platform for new musical theatre writers to showcase their work. This production of Freckles The Musical featured both adults and children, and the lead role of Fran Eddy was played by Lollie McKenzie (former Matilda in Matilda The Musical). 

In June 2017, the song Filament reached the final of the Stiles and Drewe Best Song from a New Musical.

2016

"THE FRECKLES EFFECT", a reduced version of the show, ran at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August at Greenside at Nicolson Square, The Emerald Theatre. The production featured over 25 talented young performers from Bath and the surrounding area, and earned 5-star reviews. This was followed by a short run in Bath at The Roper Theatre.

2015

THE PRODUCTION had a short run at Kingswood Theatre, Bath in August 2015 (sponsored by Kingswood School, Bath), with direction by Kate Nash.

THE SONG "DARE WE" (for the displaced at Christmas) became a finalist for the Xmas Factor Song Contest.

CLAUDE-MICHEL SCHoNBERG led two masterclasses.

2014

THE PRODUCTION was first work-shopped in November at the Memorial Hall, The Royal High School in Bath (sponsored by The Royal High School, Bath), and featured talented performers between the ages of 7 - 19.
